Edward Bennett Williams Autograph Collection

This collection contains manuscripts, incunabula, vellum manuscripts and pages from books of early presses. Among the manuscripts are the French and Dutch Book of Hours, part of an early Bible as well as Venetian and German items. Other items of note include a section of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales as well as sheet music. Items date from the 15th and 16th centuries.

This collection contains two volumes belongin to Ernest H. Vaughan. The first is contains his notes taken during lectures pertaining to law of corporations from 1883. The second is a scrapbook with newspaper clippings pertaining to when John F. Fitzgerald, Mayor of Boston, vetoed an order, which granted rights and locations throughout Boston to the Metropolitian Home Telephone Company in 1906.
